Emphasis placed on learning about your horse from the ground up. Incremental steps to build up confidence with hands-on techniques enabling you to pick up your horses feet, grooming, and saddling up
correctly. Learn how to move your horse in and out of gates, trailers, stalls, and between other horses and dogs. Attention is paid to the nervous rider or beginner ensuring that you are having fun and enjoying your horse while learning stable and horse management.

Horse Boarding
Boarding at the Ranch is designed for your horse to feel at home. With over twenty-nine years in animal management, you can relax in the knowledge that your horse's comfort comes first. Horses are pastured and rotated through over 6 acres. As horses enjoy each other's company, the aim is to create a herd ambiance, so horses are not visually separated from
each other, and afforded every opportunity to socialize and do what horses love to do, gallop on wide open mesas! This is great horse country bordered by national forest. You can chose where to ride--the wide open mesas or Kit Carson Nat'l Forest just 3 miles away.
Boarding includes hay, salt blocks, stall, bedding and turnout. Facilities include round pen and warm up areas. Farrier service available at extra cost.
